Cute ensuite single room, had everything you could want for a short stay. Had a WiFi password but requite it, so can't comment. Staff were friendly, and smiley faces, which is always a bonus, and breakfast was rich/ decent. Thankfully, they weren't too fussed about the checkout time and were okay with my checking out just before 12pm. I'd recommend!
Nice hotel in a good location for Kensington Olympia venue. Tea and coffee in the room and a fridge which is a bonus. Breakfast was good, fresh eggs, beans and toast made to order with cheeses, fruit, croissants, jams and cereals on tap. Fruit juice on every table and plenty of tea and coffee. Good WiFi connection as well. Only downside was a lady knocking the door around 9am to ask when we were leaving so she could clean the room. Considering check out is 11am thought that was a bit bad but otherwise a good place to stay.
very nice place considering the quality for the price including prices in London. Rooms clean, well-equipped, as large as the building allows, bathrooms have everything necessary. Hotel very well located, close to transport (metro, bus), shops, bars and restaurants. Only a few metro stops to the city center. Nice and professional service. Be advised: the hotel belongs to the chain, the reception is only in one hotel (Saba hotel) as well as the breakfast place. Hotel Saba is 10 meters from Melandre. free Wi-Fi works well, breakfast is continental but in "English" style, an electronic card is issued to the room to open your room and the entrance door. As I mentioned earlier, the reception is only at the Hotel Saba, so with any matter you have to go there or use the phone in the room. for a short stay in London, the place is perfect. only minus is lack of parking, only toll spots along the road, that are a problem due to availability. Such a lovely hotel! It had everything I would need for a brief stay in London. I can't speak for everyone's needs but if you want something that is really simple which isn't going to break the bank, this is your place! Reception staff were friendly on arrival. This was a work trip so I only needed a place to sleep really. It was lovely and quiet so I slept really well. Even the single room comes with its own private shower which was great! All in all, a really lovely stay. Thanks to all at the Melandre Hotel!
For the price, we can't fault this place. We got an upgrade to a quad room and the breakfast which was included in our original booking was more than enough to feed a family before a day of sightseeing. Clean, well presented and good location. Would definitely stay again.
Everything you need in walking distance from shepherds bush and Hammersmith. Stayed as cheap and cheerful accomodation near eventim apollo. Lovely service, hosts, rooms clean and tidy. The only downside was the shower, low pressure but not the worst. Breakfast lovely too, continental and eggs made to order.
Our experience with the Melandre Hotel was very nice. The room was clean & tidy every day. The bathroom was clean as well. We also had breakfast, continental one which was ok. The hotel is 15 min walking distance from Westfield mall and 7-10 min from Hammersmith Tube Station. We gladly recommend this place for a short visit trip to London.
I didn't stay in this hotel but used temporary luggage storage while waiting for the evening flight. The reception is helpful and polite. Lucky to meet the hotel owner, Mr Saba, a nice gentleman. Mr Saba had visited Malaysia (KL) & Penang before, what a small world.
